Kate Usher Surfaces is a new and exciting design studio in the far North of England. We are based in a new creative workspace called The Shed.
What We Do
We are currently working on a brand new, contemporary collection of luxury wall-coverings for children and the young at heart! Our products will have a high quality finish and some will be embellished with Swarovski crystals or feature special finishes such as flock and foiling.
We also take on freelance projects and special commissions in all areas of surface design, including textile prints for interiors and fashion, gift and stationary design, and large scale artworks for public places.
The Creative Director, Kate Usher has a first class degree in Textiles and Surface Design and is experienced in creating surface prints for a range of different clients. Her creditable gift for sighting the next big thing, as well as a keen eye for colour and pattern has gained her a seat on two separate trend and colour forecasting panels in the UK.
